On July 16, the Masterclass “Effective Implementation of Innovative Product Service Systems” took place in Utrecht. The masterclass was dedicated to share and discuss the most important insights on the development and implementation of PSS’s, from four years of research in the PSS101 project in CRISP.
Service Design was recommended and translated by SDN-Beijing chapter. As a promoter of service design in China, the operation team of SDN-Beijing makes great efforts constantly in spreading the worldwide latest service design thoughts and methods to our members, educators, practitioners and also to those who’d like to approach about and give close attention to service design.
“Service Design & Innovation ” was published in May 2015. It’s the first book that systematically introduce service design to Chinese audiences, the author, Prof. Guosheng Wang (Sam WANG), is serving in the Academy Art & Design, Tsinghua university, as well as the founder and chair of SDN-beijing.

Taiwan has been actively involved in the international design circle in recent years, including the 2011 IDA Congress, World Design Expo and 2016 World Design Capital in Taipei. The growing trend has been also transforming the ‘Made-in-Taiwan’ (MIT) economy into a ‘Design-in-Taiwan’ (DIT) one.
