Join Young Talents Day at SDGC16

Young Talents Day is a great opportunity for students to meet, learn and network with big companies looking for young service design talent.

This year’s Young Talents Day Challenge will take place at Schiphol airport, with participants showing their enthusiasm and skill in aviation related SD tasks.Young Talents Day is a whole day event, which ends with students presenting their outcomes to an expert audience. Their results will also be displayed online as part of the conference website. Students from all over the globe as well as SD coordinators and facilitators from TU Delft and the Service Science Factory Maastricht. 

Join SDN´s Young Talents Day 2016, initiated by SDN in partnership with TU Delft and the Service Science Factory Maastricht and hosted by Transavia at Schiphol Airport on 26th of October. Get challenged by Transavia about aviation and service design, network with international students and learn from experienced service design professional. Touchpoint Vol. 14 No.3 | Implementing Service Design is out!

On 8 January 2024, after more than six years of meticulous planning, development and testing, Astrobotic Technology launched their Peregrine lunar lander into space, with the aim of being the first American spacecraft to land on the moon since 1972. Seven hours after launch, a propellant leak was discovered, and the difficult decision was made to abandon the mission and allow Peregrine to burn up upon re-entry to Earth’s atmosphere. One week ago, a follow-up mission from Intuitive Machines did succeed in landing Odysseus on the moon’s surface. But in what was later attributed to both cutting corners and forgetting to unlock a laser’s physical safety switch, Odysseus touched down on its side, hampering its solar panels and communications, and causing the mission to be aborted.
