［『Service Design Impact Report: Health Sector』とは］
Service Design Network（SDN）では、2015年度から独自の研究活動を開始し、サービスデザインの貢献できる領域に関するケーススタディや専門家へのインタビューを取りまとめたレポートを発行しています。『Service Design Impact Report : Health Sector』は、この調査研究活動の第3弾として2017年に発表されました。このレポートでは、サービスデザインの衛生・ヘルスケア領域への適用について、多方面から把握することができる内容になっています。

［日本語版について］
医療・衛生・ヘルスケアは、世界的に多くの課題があり、量と質の両面において、これまでとは異なるアプローチが必要となってきています。一方でそこに割かれる予算は削減傾向にあり、また、保険の適用範囲に関する法的な議論や、科学及び技術の進歩により発生した新たな倫理的課題等、状況はより複雑化しています。
このようにヘルスケアの領域が抜本的な改革を必要としている今、この分野においてサービスデザインが大きな価値を発揮していることをより広く知ってもらいたいとの思いから、本レポートは作成されました。
