Adaptive Path at Capital One Presents: A Guide to Service Blueprinting

The stars finally aligned, and we're so thrilled to bring back this much sought-after workshop which we had to cancel last year due to inclement weather!

A blizzard may have stopped us the year before, but everything lined up perfectly on March 1st for us to have an amazing event on service blueprinting presented by Adaptive Path service designer Andrea Fineman. This staple mapping tool is often the first look into the world of service design for those unacquainted with our ways, and rightly so. It has the ability to demonstrate in simple terms some key service design perspectives. Fortunately, we had a dozen or so attendees (out of about 50) who were completely new to service design and blueprinting for our presenters to teach.

After some interactive training and an hour of lively collaboration (and pizza munching), our six teams of both new and seasoned service designers were able to come away with a deeper understanding of blueprinting, as well as a stronger sense of community. Service design is a growing topic in the DC area, and based on the participation during this event, it just got an awesome boost. Huge thanks to Capital One for hosting the event!
