In 2026, we are bringing the international Service Design community to Germany, gathering both in-person in Wiesbaden, in the vibrant Frankfurt RheinMain region, and online for our virtual attendees. We are especially proud to organize this landmark event in cooperation with the World Design Capital 2026. World Design Capital® is an initiative of wdo.org.

Early Bird Offer UNTIL MAY 15, 2026.

Don't miss the opportunity to secure the early bird price and maximize your benefits. Check the tickets on the conference website.

The conference will maintain its signature 3-day format, commencing on 28 Oct with workshops (requiring separate purchase once workshop registration opens), followed by two full days of inspiring conference talks, keynotes, and panels - on 29 Oct and 30 Oct.

Our in-person attendees will meet at the state-of-the-art RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden. Located right in the city’s lively cultural district, the RMCC offers a vibrant and contemporary space for networking and learning.

Under the theme "Beyond Boundaries: Enabling Solutions That Shape Tomorrow", SDGC26 brings together practitioners, leaders, educators, and change-makers to share how solutions are developed, implemented, and scaled—creating atmospheres for a better life.

Beyond Boundaries explores how organizations in the private and public sectors and communities are enabled to move past today’s limits and shape more resilient and meaningful futures through service design.

Across sectors, organizations are facing boundaries that are structural, cultural, technological, and environmental. Overcoming them requires more than expertise in a single field—it calls for new ways of working, collaborating, and making sense of complexity.

Service design plays a key enabling role in this context. By bringing people together across disciplines, translating insight into action, and shaping solutions around real needs, service design helps organizations navigate transitions and create the conditions for lasting change.
