Service Design Network at iF DESIGN AWARD 2019

Service Design Network was pleased to join the rest of the world in celebrating the achievements of the design community during the March 15, 2019, iF DESIGN AWARD. SDN’s very own Birgit Mager (President) was among the jury panel charged with selecting the ultimate winners, with our personal highlight of the program being, of course, the award for service design excellence!

Last week the iF International Forum Design GmbH (Hannover) created quite the buzz in the online and offline design communities with their annual presentation of the iF DESIGN AWARD, the internationally-recognised seal of good design. With an independent jury of over 67 experts, Birgit Mager joined other leaders of the design industry in Hamburg (January) to review and evaluate the inspiring projects which cover the disciplines of architecture, communication, interior architecture, packaging, product design, professional, concept design and of course—service design. The awards ceremony, which took place in Munich on March 15, 2019, welcomed more than 2000 guests in celebrating the accomplishments of the ultimate winners of this esteemed prize.

We strongly encourage you to check out the exciting projects realised by the impressive teams who made up the iF award winners. To take advantage of the momentum this awards program has created, we would like to remind you of another important program taking place in 2019—SDN’s Service Design Award.
