Soren Hamby will address the next levels of accessibility beyond awareness and alt image text, how accessibility maturity relates to service design, and how to take an inclusive approach to your end-to-end process.

About Our Speaker


Soren currently leads a User Experience department and champions accessibility and inclusion in both practices and products. Soren has a BFA in Design, was a design fellow in the Design Leadership program at On Deck, and has certifications in UX Management from the N/ng Group, in Accessibility Program Management from Deque, and in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.


Prior to leading the UX team at Benjamin Moore, Soren has worked with Wunderman Thompson, InVision, E*Trade, JPMorgan Chase, R/GA, MRM//McCann, and the Department of Defense.


Soren can often be found making physical art and playing board games and crafting at their home in NY with their loved ones, including two cats that do tricks. Soren also volunteers as a maintainer of accessibility resources on the internet and shares their love of inclusive and accessible design and workplaces with design students and mentees.
