​About the speakers

Sabine Junginger
Sabine Junginger -

​Sabine is an international renowned design researcher and Professor at HSLU, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts. She leads the MA Service Design and the SNF VA-PEPR project. ​​Sabine is also one of the co-founders of the Swiss Service Design Network.

​Dominik Knaus
​Dominik Knaus -

​​Dominik is Head of the Institute for Tourism and Leisure ITF and Director of Studies Service Innovation and Design at the FHGR, University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons. ​Since joining the UAS Graubünden, Dominik Knaus has been responsible for the development and expansion of the Service Innovation & Design degree program and teaches the modules in the field of service design. Prior to his academic career, Dominik Knaus supported and managed various tourism companies and worked as a consultant in the field of innovation management.

​Sandro Graf
​Sandro Graf -

​Sandro is Head of the Center for Customer Experience & Service Design at the ZHAW, Zurich University of Applied Sciences. ​ ​Sandro teaches Service Design at the BSc and MSc level and is the program head of the CAS Service Design & Innovation. Furthermore, he is a board member of two companies in the marketing and real estate industries. He is a public speaker on topics like the future of banking, mobile payments or marketing.

​Emmanuel Fragnière
​Emmanuel Fragnière -

​Emmanuel is a professor of Service Design and Innovation and the director of the CAS HES-SO in Treasury Management at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO Valais). ​His research is focused on the development of design techniques for the service sector in general and, more specifically, applied to the energy and tourism markets.

​Klaus Marek
​Klaus Marek -

​Klaus is a professor at HSLU, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Lucerne, where he teaches service and spatial design. ​He has extensive experience in architecture and product design, having worked on projects with companies such as Roche, Stabilo, Herzog & de Meuron and Somfy. Klaus has a user-centred approach to design and has taught design methods at both the bachelor's and master's levels. He is currently the head of the Bachelor's program in Spatial Design at HSLU.
