SDN Global Café - Other

SDN Global Café is back! Join us on February 8, 2024!

Dear SDN Members,

You are all invited to join our first SDN Global Café event in the 2024!

A virtual series aims to connect our beloved SDN members, provide more networking opportunities, and tackle relevant Service Design topics.

In this upcoming session, we will welcome Peter Fossick, who will discuss his new book entitled “Operations Thinking / Research Operations” and share insights gathered from more than 25 years of designing products and services.

Theme: A Practical Approach to Service Design Ops

Pete has developed a perspective entitled the 8 “P”s of operations thinking.  In the book he catalogs the processes, tools, methods, and essential best practices that designers can use as they “apply operations thinking to scale user research in organisations that wish to apply human-centred design and data-driven solutions”.

Join us at our Global Café when he will show how to use the framework and canvas, with a specific view into how AI is transforming service design and service design ops, and what we as service designers can do to advance our practice.

✅ Sounds interesting?
