A practice-led live online introduction to the study and practice of contemporary art, structured around the development of your own self-motivated individual project with the expert guidance of Dr Despina Zacharopoulou.

13 sessions over 3 weeks

  • Week 1: 18–22 July 2022
  • Week 2: 25–29 July 2022
  • Week 3: 1–5 August 2022

4.5 hrs a day 11am – 3:30pm BST per day (with a 1-hour break included)

Self study time on Monday 25 July and Monday 1 August.

Introduction:

This three-week, online, practice-led short course provides a supportive environment for self-led independent practice and introduces participants to the study of contemporary art within the academic environment of the Royal College of Art.

Taught online by RCA staff and supported by a broad range of prominent artists, academics, critics and curators, the course provides participants with the opportunity to develop their individual practice within an interdisciplinary, collaborative atmosphere.
