About Sara Traversari
There and back again…
3 things about me
1. I am a Globe trotter
I worked in Italy, Silicon Valley, London, and now New York, experiencing all sorts of working environments.
2. The Collectivo Design Café
I used to hosting free events for designers, user researchers, and anyone involved in product development, that want to learn more about other people experiences. This allowed me to provide mentorship as well as to learn more about other designers and product people experiences. And now, here I am with the SDN Milan Chapter :) I'm looking forward to seeing what the SDN adventure will bring our way!
3. I love reading and learning
I'm very passionate about cognitive science and behavioral psychology; I’m a voracious reader of sci-fi, crime novels and fantasy; I'm learning to play the clarinet and sometimes I like dabbling with my painting gear.
To me, service design means...
Service design is about creating seamless, meaningful experiences by connecting people, systems, and touch-points. It’s where empathy meets strategy and creativity blends with structure, crafting solutions that work better and drive positive change.
