To me, service design means...

I see service design as making complex services, products and offerings easier, by connecting the dots and making the invisible visible to everyone. Service design helps to innovate (create new) or improve (existing) services to make them more useful, usable, desirable for clients and efficient as well effective for organisations. It is a new holistic, multi-disciplinary, integrative field. The ability to help organisations, communities and individuals understand complex problems that can impact every aspect of their operations, strategy and users. While looking at things in a systematic way to create improvements, solving existing problems and creating new value.
