Service Design Manager
AdventHealth's Design Center team is seeking a service design leader who is ready to improve how healthcare is experienced across moments, touchpoints, and systems.
In this role, you will design and improve end-to-end healthcare services grounded in empathy and real-world insight. You will partner with clinicians, technologists, and leaders to understand complex systems, identify opportunities, and prototype new service experiences. You will also support and mentor designers as they develop their craft and confidence.
This role is well suited for a designer who is stepping into leadership through facilitation, systems thinking, and collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Design and evolve end-to-end healthcare services and journeys
- Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions across clinical and operational teams
- Lead design research and synthesize insights into service opportunities
- Develop service blueprints, journey maps, and low-fidelity prototypes
- Use storytelling and visualizations to align stakeholders and support decisions
- Mentor early-career designers and contribute to a growing design practice
What You Bring
- Three to four years of professional experience in service design, experience design, or a related field
- Experience collaborating across disciplines in complex environments
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and learning through iteration
- A genuine interest in improving how healthcare services are delivered and experienced
