Service Design Leads at today drive the transformation of business and government service delivery. They imagine and execute programs of design-led research to meaningfully include system actors in the design process, and work with them to generate bold ideas and iterate concepts. They wrangle complexity to find the signal amongst the noise. They encourage and guide collaboration in transdisciplinary teams to unleash fresh thinking and activate big ideas.

Tasks

• Work collaboratively in transdisciplinary teams (alongside designers and non-designers) to crack big, complex challenges

• Build strong client relationships, being a trusted advisor

• Challenge our clients to think bigger and to act smaller

• Conceive and articulate winning approaches to new business opportunities

• Find a way through fuzzy, complicated, organisational challenges

• Build empathy with people in order to deeply understand them and their needs

• Wrangle insights into an actionable plan

• Design and facilitate interesting, engaging participatory workshops

• Have an interest and understanding of technology trends and their potential to humanise and scale modern services

• Have positive attitude of 'how might we?' rather than 'it won't work because...'
