On June 1, we celebrated with a virtual bonfire two major events, Service Design Day and the start of the Guadalajara chapter of the Service Design Network.

Monse, part of the chapter team, led the conversation at the bonfire. We were joined by members of the community in Guadalajara, who told us about their experiences, feelings, battles and victories.

As we suspected, all the campfire participants came from different places and professions to service design. Delia, for example, told us that she came from project management, Oscar started in service design as a public accountant and confessed to have always been a fan of services.

Sara, Anahí, Alber and Julie, were some of the campfire participants who joined us eating and drinking while they took turns to share their stories with us. For several of us it was the first time we had met, but by the end of the session we were all friends, brought together by the magic of stories about our love for service design, by the virtual campfire.

We kicked off the Guadalajara chapter on the right foot and in great company!
