Early bird tickets are now available for Service Design Global Conference 2021!

The conference team is excited to welcome you to this year's Service Design Global Conference scheduled between October 21 – 22, 2021 (save the date to your calendar!)! Today, we are thrilled to announce that the early-bird tickets are now available with a new tiered pricing system for purchasing tickets.

At the SDN, we are committed to achieving a more diverse community of global practitioners unconstrained by economic barriers that may hinder them from accessing everything our organisation has to offer. In line with this thinking, we are instituting a new pricing structure for our conference tickets which eliminates a previously flat rate of <250 Euros> and replaces it with a two-tiered ticket pricing approach that considers the global disparity in currency value. Using the World Bank's country income index as a guiding framework, we are now basing conference ticket prices on where you live and your income bracket following categories defined by the World Bank!

SDN Conference Fees: early-bird fees are valid until August 31, 2021!

Explore the new tiered ticket pricing structure and register now to take advantage of our early-bird fees!

*To learn more about where your country falls within the World Bank's country designations. Please note that a supplemental list is also available for countries not registered within this index due to being territories of other countries or smaller independent nations.

*Note: all above fees exclude workshop tickets, which will be sold separately.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

On 8 January 2024, after more than six years of meticulous planning, development and testing, Astrobotic Technology launched their Peregrine lunar lander into space, with the aim of being the first American spacecraft to land on the moon since 1972. Seven hours after launch, a propellant leak was discovered, and the difficult decision was made to abandon the mission and allow Peregrine to burn up upon re-entry to Earth’s atmosphere. One week ago, a follow-up mission from Intuitive Machines did succeed in landing Odysseus on the moon’s surface. But in what was later attributed to both cutting corners and forgetting to unlock a laser’s physical safety switch, Odysseus touched down on its side, hampering its solar panels and communications, and causing the mission to be aborted.
