To design the future of Service Design in Switzerland we need to understand how it was in the past and how it is today.

Back in 2019, the Swiss Service Design Network team got in touch with 50+ service design practitioners to better understand: the state of Service Design in Switzerland, what makes Swiss services different, and what do they expect from a community of service designers. Here is what we learned.

A small survey with insights from 52 Service Design practitioners.

At the creation of the Swiss Chapter of the Service Design Network (in 2019), the team spread a survey to all known Service Design practitioners in Switzerland. This survey reached 52 professionals who shared their opinion about the state of Service Design in Switzerland. Such a tiny survey doesn’t give definitive and perfect answers but can shed an inspiring light on our community, and we hope this data will be useful for future comparisons.
