Zurich service design agency IN.flow organized a 2-in-1 event in May - with presentations and workshop activities around the topic of facility management. Here is a short summary.

Prof. Dr. Christian Coenen presented the Double Diamond and explained why it is worth marrying service design and facility (or facilitation) management. Dominik Dräyer then took the audience on a journey to ISS and shared their positive experiences introducing service design in ISS.

The audience then got active. They worked on creative ideas and prototypes to solve various challenges - including heling unused spaces to increase their attractiveness , helping Zurich main station to find ways to optimize FM processes thanks to IoT, and brainstorming ideas how FM can improve sustainability.

As a closing presentation, Anja Staudt showed why OfficeLAB coworking is more than an office. In the end, creative reserves were replenished with aperitifs and exciting discussions.

The event was organized by IN.flows Mirjam Pfenninger, Jennifer Konkol and Christian Herbst. If you have questions about the event, want to access the presentations, or are curious about facility management, contact Mirjam at hallo@inflow.swiss
