SDNbeijing won the SDN Chapter Award

SDNbeijing won the SDN Chapter Award! The winner announcement and Award Ceremony took place during the SDGC17 Members Event on November 1st, 2017. The awards showcase the amazing impact of the SDNbeijing for international community. 国际服务设计联盟(北京)荣获2017SDN Chapter Award!颁奖典礼于2017年11月1日国际服务设计大会(SDGC2017)期间举行。该奖项旨在表彰全球各SDN联盟在服务设计组织、交流、推广等方面的积极贡献。

Over the past year SDNbeijing published two highly impactful publications; the very first ‘China Higher Education Service Design Survey Report’ and the premier Chinese Touchpoint special edition ‘Touchpoint - Service Design in a Global Context’ which has sold over 1,500 copies.”

“在过去的一年里,国际服务设计联盟(北京)出版了两本具有影响力的出版物:《中国高等教育服务设计调研报告》和《触点》中文特刊——《触点—全球语境下的服务设计》,该特刊已售出1500多本。”

 “Touchpoint - global context of service design” is the first Chinese edition of Touchpoint.

Wang Guosheng, the Chairman of SDN Beijing, served as editor-in-chief. Mager Birgit, SDN Chairman, and Jesse Grimes, Editor of "Touchpoint,” serving as the international editorial board, are responsible for the organization and evaluation of manuscripts.

There are 25 papers in the Chinese special edition: 10 Chinese papers and 15 English papers that are selected from previous "Touchpoints.” The special edition is published by the MIIT Publishing Group and Posts &Telecom Press.

《触点·服务设计的全球语境》是《Touchpoint》授权的第一本中文版特辑,由SDN Beijing主席王国胜担任主编,SDN主席Mager Birgit、《Touchpoint》主编Jesse Grimes担任国际编委。这本中文版特辑收录了10篇中国服务设计论文以及选自《Touchpoint》的15篇英文论文。该书由工信出版集团,人民邮电出版社联合出版发行。

“China Higher Education Service Design Survey”began from 2016 by SDNbeijing,and secondary updated the data at the survey 2017.The report was jointly developed by the academy of Arts & Design ,Tsinghua University and SDNbeijing.

This research report introduced the general situation of service design education among Chinese universities, including the distribution of service design courses nationwide, the distribution of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the academic interest and research direction of teachers, the class capacity and the number of class hours.

《中国高等教育服务设计调研报告》由清华大学美术学院与国际服务设计联盟(北京)共同开发,数据来源于2016、2017年中国服务设计高等教育调研。本调研报告介绍了中国高校服务设计教育概况,包括服务设计课程全国分布情况、本科研究生课程分布、教师学术兴趣与研究方向、课容量与课时数等。

SDN Singapore Chapter is thrilled to share the incredible energy and innovation that unfolded at the Ideactio studio during our 2nd Open Innovation Competition centred around ‘Shaping the Future of Food Manufacturing’! Our talented participating teams embraced the opportunity to tackle this dynamic challenge head-on, bringing forth a wave of creativity and cutting-edge solutions. It was truly inspiring to witness the diverse perspectives and collaborative spirit that our participants brought to the table. Teams showcased ingenious approaches to tackle the challenge statements given. Innovative technologies and sustainable practices took centre stage, reflecting our commitment to a greener and more resilient future. Cross-functional collaboration at its best - Engineering, design, IT and life science students seamlessly blended their skills to craft holistic solutions. The amazing winners! Winning Team - Ngee Ann Polytechnic: Process automation to optimise delivery and improve efficiency Co-Runners Up (two teams) - Ngee Ann Polytechnic & Nanyang Polytechnic: Attract and retain young local talent for business expansion. Third Place - Singapore Polytechnic: Attract young talents by understanding prospective employees. A massive congratulations to all participating teams for pushing boundaries and redefining the future of food manufacturing! We believe in fostering a culture of innovation, and this competition was a testament to the extraordinary talent within our partners.
