SDN Saskatchewan is coming to Saskatoon

SDN Saskatchewan is looking to hold our next event in Saskatoon. We're looking for topic suggestions.

Our kick-off event in Regina in June was a big success. We had a nice turnout for our first gathering and feedback from attendees was excellent. However, we are the Saskatchewan chapter of the Service Design Network and it's important that our activities and focus include all of Saskatchewan, not just pockets or one area.

As such, we are currently in the planning phase of delivering a learning session in Saskatoon after the summer months. We plan to host an event, meet people currently active or curious about service design and share knowledge on one of a number of topics.

Suggestions include:
- Personas
- Journey Mapping
- Service Blueprints
- Ecosystem Mapping
- Design Research
- Design Sprints

This is just a starting point. If you have something here you'd like to learn more about or have suggestions or other topics that we could cover, please let us know. Send us an email, tweet us or send us a message on LinkedIn

This chapter is about growing the practice and knowledge about service design in Saskatchewan and we are always curious about what people would like to learn more about or share with others.

Stay tuned for our announcement when details are finalized.

This shift brings with it a host of considerations, both positive and negative, that merit in-depth exploration and critical reflection.

Service designers work within a unique context. Because our work influences service innovation, improvement and delivery across lengthy and often complex customer lifecycles, we must work closely with stakeholders from across our organisations, and even beyond.
