SDN Chapter Award Winners 2018: Congratulations!

The National Chapter Board and SDN Global are excited to announce the 5 winners of the SDN Chapter Award. The winner announcement and Award Ceremony took place during the SDGC18 Members Event on October 10, 2018. The awards showcase the amazing impact of the SDN Chapters for our international community and raise awareness about their activities.

A Growing Network of Passionate Volunteers

SDN is a strong, international network thanks to our amazing chapters. Since 2008 we have grown from 1 to 40 national chapters in 32 countries across 5 continents! These chapters are run by teams of passionate volunteers from the service design industry and academia. They support their local service design community to grow, flourish and contribute to the global discourse.

This year we would like to especially thank the SDN Ireland team for their amazing contribution, collaborating with SDN Global to host the Service Design Global Conference in Dublin!

Recognizing Global Impact

The SDN Chapters are not only hosting events but are also recognized as leaders in local and national service design initiatives. We are very happy to initiate an annual SDN Chapter Award Ceremony at the Global Conference to celebrate and share their great work.

The advances are rapid as well, presenting new opportunities while at the same time forcing us to answer some challenging questions on where and how its capabilities are deployed. This issue of Touchpoint answers an ongoing need in our community to learn from each other - as well as those outside our field - to confidently apply AI, as well as know where it should be avoided.
