Satoru Tokuhisa Kyushu University, Assoc. Prof.

Graduated from the School of Law, Department of Political Science, Keio University in 2002, and graduated from the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University in 2007 with a Ph. D. in Media and Governance from Keio University in 2007. He was a specially-appointed lecturer at the Graduate School of Media Design, Keio University, an associate at takram design engineering (currently Takram), and an associate professor at the Faculty of International and Integrated Sciences, Yamaguchi University, before assuming his current position. He is interested in the innovation process in whole, and practices from service development to business creation. He is the author of the book “Weaving Regional Innovations - New Businesses Weaving Based on Resources". While in graduate school, he co-founded UTUTU Co., Ltd. which mainly operates a video purikura business. 2009, he was selected for the IPA Exploratory Human Resource Program and released Povie, a video decoration application equipped with a cloud-based mobile video decoration engine. In 2013, he co-founded Navigator Platform Inc. which operates an information platform for individual investors, and in 2014, he co-founded Wanic Co., Ltd. which develops fermented and distilled spirits made from coconut juice.
