I've had varied roles over the years all leading and contributing to a love of service design. Started out in finance for a number of years before switching to a software engineer role designing and building APIs, and enterprise services, before natural progression to solution architect. I then jumped into an experience planner role covering user experience and service design to embrace the customer angle as that was missing from my architecture role. I love looking under the covers of how things really work and fit together and see how they've evolved organically over time, along with the unintentional workarounds be put in place by the people involved in that end-to-end journey.
