Luis Guevara Lead & Professor

I am a social psychologist with a master's degree in Social Innovation Projects who has worked as a consultant and project manager in various sectors at a professional level (government, tech, social projects, education, human resources, among others). This has allowed me to interact and work with organizations such as UNICEF, Bernard van Leer, Save the Children, IBD, etc.

I have over 5 years of experience leading projects and managing teams. And now, in my process of work reconversion, I am putting into practice my Service Design knowledge to generate more systemic and efficient solutions. I also have over 10 years of experience as a university professor in courses on work psychology and social development.

For me, each project is not just a goal to be met but also a way to learn how to work smarter and more efficiently, appropriating automations and new technologies to be more human and less operational.

To me, service design means...

Service design is the art of understanding underlying connections to improve life's quality in a context, including its individuals and processes. Similar as we understand nature, service design, on the one hand, is about understanding how each context has characteristics that shape it and make it unique; and, on the other hand, understanding that the living beings present in that context have a functional and specialized participation that makes synergistic and functional relationships possible. This is done to co-create sustainable and appropriate solutions and improvements for each reality
