“Celebrating the voices of DC’s creative community”

As part of DC Design Week , Service Design DC hosted our second installment of five Pecha Kucha presentations, centered around the theme “Celebrating the voices of DC’s creative community”!

This September, as part of DC Design Week and in partnership with AIGA, Service Design DC held our second installment of five virtual Pecha Kucha presentations. The presentations were focused around the theme ‘Celebrating the voices of DC’s creative community’ and featured speakers from various industries and experiences. Among the speakers were Josh D’Angelo, Doctor of Physical Therapy at MovementX, Ricardo Martins, Professor of Service Design at SCAD, Isabella Bruno, Experience and Exhibition Designer at the Smithsonian Museum of American History, Jatin Gupta, Product Designer at T-Mobile, and Jeremy Haldeman, Director of Government Affairs and Advocacy at Alight. Each presentation examined the practice of service design in a particular context and allowed for rich discussion with the design community.

If you would like to see a recording of the event, it is posted here.

We hope you enjoyed the presentations and we look forward to continuing the conversations at our next Pecha Kucha!
