Chapter events - Switzerland

Where does Service Design come from? And how does the culture and history of Switzerland shape how Service Design is practiced today?

Date and time

The webinar will take place on Friday, 24th March, from 17:00 to 18:00 (see in your time zone). As for any Swiss event, please join 5 minutes before so that we can start in a timely way.

A three parts co-creative workshop

1. Get together 10 minutes

A short introduction round to get to know the community of service design practitioners.

2. Co-creation 20 minutes

With the help of a shared Digital Whiteboard, we will work in small break-out rooms to discuss the history of Service Design and the links with the Swiss culture and history.

3. Pitch 30 minutes

Each sub-group shares the key insights and learning from their discussion round with all participants. The results are synthesised live in one visual summary.

An event organized in partnership between the Swiss chapter of the Service Design Network and the Swiss Innovation Academy

With insights from the book A Tiny History of Service Design

During the webinar you will discover key dates and events that have shaped how Service Design is practiced today. These historical moments come from the book A Tiny History of Service Design.
