About Service Design Drinks Toronto

Service Design Drinks Toronto is a welcoming informal local meetup that brings together service design professionals and enthusiasts.

It’s an informal gathering where people can:

  • Share their experiences through short, candid talks (no slides, just stories).
  • Network and exchange ideas in a relaxed pub-style environment.
  • Explore service design concepts, from tools and methodologies to emerging challenges—all through peer conversation .

Founded and organized by local designers (including Francis Szakacs, Laura De Santis, and Shivika Sood), the group fosters connections across experience levels and industries. Since its post‑pandemic revival earlier this year, it’s become a regular platform for Toronto’s service design community to reconnect, learn, and grow together
