Service Design Lab is a research institute that Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) established in 2013.
We research and develop co-creative service design methods to design service innovation with customers, companies, experts, and creators. We help companies create innovative service that provide valuable experience for customers using our original service design methods.
There are three features in our lab.
1. Open innovation style to create various ideas
DNP perform business widely and provide various product and service to more than 30 thousand clients and customers. We design service innovation with customers, companies, experts, and creators utilizing our wide business network.
2. Original service design method
We have original service design method* characterized by helping to make innovative idea. (*This method is developed collaborating with Keio University.)
3. Prototyping and Design thinking
Our professional system engineers develop fundamental system prototypes of service flexibly and rapidly. Besides, we evaluate service value in demonstration test.
