Senior Service Designer

Responsible for design and development of engaging user experiences for a variety of applications using workshops, creative brainstorms, design research, interaction design, and service design.

Utilize research to develop insights, generate concepts, and understand how people interact with BCBSM products and services.

Use system design to ensure problem definition and ideation address the needs and optimize the value across all stakeholders.

Conceptualize and lead Design Thinking initiatives and projects, including workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms.

Develop process flows and wireframes to conceptualize and communicate design strategies.

Responsible for the communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

Explain and discuss design decisions and give design feedback to other team members.

A human-centered problem solver. You seek to understand people’s needs, motivations and behaviors in order to translate them into impactful experiences.

You deliver insights about people and behavior in a way that generates empathy, emotion, and engagement

You love thinking big, and at the same time, you know when to dive into the details.

You are comfortable with virtual collaboration, workshopping and design tools such as Mural, etc.
