Chapter events - Switzerland

Join us for an exciting workshop exploring how user research and spatial design can lead to better workspaces! This workshop is based on a case study mixing Spatial Design and Service Design by Eliya Maria Pagelli and David Haas, two third-year students of the BA Spatial Design at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

About the workshop
In the first part of this workshop the speakers will share their experiences developing a sophisticated spatial concept for the redesign of the office space of the research group Visual Narrative and Art, Design and Publicity of the HSLU (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts). Based on detailed user analyses and interview results, they were able to take over the implementation of the renovation from the organization to the realization.

In this workshop, you will learn about the principles of user research and spatial design and how they can be used to improve the workplace. You will also have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and discuss best practices with other service designers.

Who can join?

Participation is free, and all levels of Service Design practitioners are welcome.
