The aim of the session is to provide a forum for the our members and the wider Service Design community to present ideas, hear from influential and inspirational speakers and provide an excuse to catch up with practitioners, academics and students, over a free glass of reasonable wine.
We've pushed the boat out for our first event and gathered speakers to excite, delight and inspire you.
Alberta Soranzo, Lloyds Banking Group's End to End Service Design and Systems Thinking Director.
Ben Terrett, Group Design Director at the Co-Op and advisor to the London Design Festival and winner of the Design Museum's Design of the Year and a D&AD Black Pencil.
Tim Hunkin, inventor, cartoonist and host of Channel 4's Secret Life of Machines.
During the event we'll also award the SDN Survey Veuve Clicquot prize, so, one lucky member will get 3 great talks for free, a glass of wine for free and go home with a free bottle of fizz. What's not to like!
This is a non-profit event. We're asking for £5 to secure a seat. The fee helps us to organise the right volume of wine and assure that tickets go to those who will turn up.
SDN members can either chose to get the £5 refunded after the event, or to donate the fee to the fantastic children's charity Barnardos. All profit from the event will also be donated to Barnardos.
Please help us in making this inaugural event a success: buy a ticket, spread the word, join the conversation and even volunteer to host or speak at our next event in January 2018.
