Join us for a conversation about the role of Service Design in the resiliency sector and how it’s well suited to tackle the complexities of climate change. This event coincides with and builds on the momentum established at the Climate Action Summit.

The interactive panel discussion will feature the following awesome panelists:

 

Aran Baker, Designer and Strategist from Cohere Design Lab. Aran’s work focuses on the relationship between climate change, equity and health. She is also an IDEO Civic Design Fellow and taught at Parsons School of Design in NYC.

Alexandria McBride, Chief Resilience Officer at the City of Oakland. Alexandria is committed to developing equitable and social justice-oriented solutions to pressing urban issues and looks forward to applying this lens to the city’s Resilient Oakland playbook.

Alexandra Jayeun Lee, Creative Director, Lead UX at Civic Design Lab. Civic Design Lab is dedicated to solving design problems in rapidly changing organizations. Alexandra is the author of a seminal work on design thinking in the context of social crisis, "Resilience by Design".

 

Sophie Jasson-Holt, Founder of Amy&Sophie Strategic and SDN SF Chapter leader, will moderate.
