About Veronica Vela
I’m an In-house Service Designer for GM Financial and have 10 years of experience working in the design field. With an Industrial Design background and a Master Degree in Industrial Design and Product Innovation, while working in Schneider Electric as Product Designer, I did a certification in Design Thinking, which gave me the tools to start bringing awareness in human-centered design to the company. I did a leap in my career when started working for Idea Couture, where I have the chance to work for 3 years fully focus on research, strategic design and business Innovation. At the end of 2017 I joined GM Financial team as Service Designer, where I’ve been developing projects for México, Colombia and Chile. During these years, I have also had the opportunity to be docent in different levels in the UANL and give mentoring to under-graduated design students in ITESM.
