Sean Molloy North York General Hospital, Director, Centre for Quality + Design and People-Centred Care

Driven by the belief that a more equitable and empathetic healthcare experience is achievable, I leverage 20+ years of values-based leadership, including Board-level governance experience, to foster positive change. As Director of North York General Hospital's Centre for Quality + Design, I integrate service design thinking and a commitment to health equity to co-create improved outcomes and experiences. My approach thrives on hope, creativity, and genuine partnership – empowering teams and communities to design solutions that truly matter. Proven results in quality, patient experience and patient safety demonstrate this impact. Beyond my core role, I contribute as a Certified Health Executive (CHE), speaker, reviewer, and instructor in quality and innovation at the University of Toronto, dedicated to building a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate care across the healthcare continuum.

To me, service design means...

Holisitic experiences, predictable results, human value.
