To me, service design means...
Like many, I was first introduced to Service design through the work of Live | Work and Engine back in 2006-7. But since then I've developed a keen interest in a variety of strategic foresight techniques; scenario planning, backcasting and visioning. I still believe many clients can be helped best by mapping and visualising their organisation. Its been interesting to see GDS' work at gov.uk and the combination of communication and user centred design methods that have enabled much progress to be made.
