About Max Adler
Self-proclaimed service designer since 2011
in my area
I'm Service Design Lead for EY, New Zealand and EY's wavespace in Auckland. The EY wavespace is a global network of growth and innovation centres. I previously freelanced as a senior service designer on commercial, local government and not-for-profit projects. Before this career, I led and trained teams in environmental enforcement and education. I learnt about collaborative problem solving and action research, and later oversaw or evaluated projects for community development in Asia and Auckland.
Max’s interest in Service Design
Helping organisations think outside the box and inside the shoes of the future customers and societies they serve. Design research that considers behavioural psychology, identity, and social context. Design management that plans for design research as a provocation to organisational culture. Service prototyping and story telling that uses theatre skills.
