Since 1995, Marcel van Dommelen has been Senior Lecturer for Facility Management at HAN University of Applied Sciences, based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Over the past twenty plus years, he has been teaching students to become competent Facility Managers. In order to continue to serve customers optimally, it is necessary to be innovative. Facility managers create new concepts for services, space and IT. Service Design is a great way of thinking and doing so. In 2018 we've incorporated Service Design in our curriculum with great support of Professor Birgit Mager from KISD.
