About Jeremiah Fellows

Design | Research | Innovation

Senior service design and design innovation lead passionate about using design research, workshops, and storytelling to help organizations understand the future and create their place in it. I love writing and public speaking and am a frequent presenter on topics at the intersection of design, technology, and culture.
I am currently a Senior Experience Designer with a global financial services organization where I've led innovation challenges resulting in four patent applications and improved employee experiences.
Before working in design innovation, I’ve been a neurophysiology researcher, an IT systems administrator, and I've worked in sales and marketing. I have inspected factories in Xi’an, negotiated supply chain deals in Guadalajara, and lectured in Bogotá.
You can see examples of my talks at Journey Driven Business Model Design (http://www.jwfellows.com/blog/2015/10/8/business-model-design) and The Service Differentiator: introduction to service design (https://www.slideshare.net/JWFellows/the-service-differentiator).
To me, service design means...
Service design is the intentional crafting of holistic, end-to-end service experiences from a systems perspective and based on an understanding of those who produce, consume, and support the services.
