This talk will center on the idea of "manifest dismantling," a term intended to contrast the 19th century idea of Manifest Destiny and its ideological echoes. If these efforts seem to be facing "backwards," it is only from the viewpoint of blindly "forward"-facing, capitalistic, and unsustainable ideas of progress.
