Cat’s interest in Service Design
In 2017, Uscreates brought service design to BBC Radio and its 7 million listeners for the first time with a series called ‘The Fix’ which used SD tools and techniques to address tricky policy problems. This year, it’s back, and rather than bringing together professionals from different backgrounds (data scientists, economists, designers), its going local, designing solutions from local assets. In this interactive workshop, participants will go behind the scenes of ‘The Fix’, and through a combination of listening and doing, experience both the innovation methods & tools used to bring together a diverse group of non-experts to come up with solutions to tricky social problems.
