As a Manager of Service Design and Strategy at TELUS, Ben Kim leads a team of service designers that assists other product owners and teams develop great end-to-end journeys for its customers. Ben also has a lean six sigma background and previously as a product manager he was responsible for launching several industry leading customer programs. His continuous improvement mindset and the desire to innovate have been recurring themes in his career that has been all about the customer experience.

Participants will be able to understand how inclusivity and diversity benefits their service design projects and pushes their capacity to become better service designers. Through an experiential activity participants will feel first hand the challenges associated with some of the traditional service design methods and generate alternative approaches to overcoming barriers to inclusion in teams.
