Service Design Day is an annual global event launched in 2016 by SDN (Service Design Network). On this day, enthusiasts get together to celebrate designing for people, raise awareness and make impact on the world. Service Design Network is the most authoritative world-wide network of practitioners engaged with creating services.
Jam session is all about practice and getting hands-on knowledge on how to create a service from idea to prototype. Along the way you will learn what Service Design is, its place in the digital world and top service design tools. The small teams of participants from different backgrounds will work on actual challenges untied by the common idea “Bringing back to community”.
Jam session will be led by experienced Mentors and Trainers:
Katerina Zayko – UX Designer and Researcher, Design Competency manager at Symphony Solutions. UX Master Certified by Nielsen Norman Group.
Andrey Milinevskiy – Service Designer, Customer Experience Management consultant, CX Design founding partner, design thinking Mentor at LvBS Center for Entrepreneurship, ex Chief Digital Transformation Officer Kyivstar.
Two days of the session will cover the following topics:

- Service Design Tools and Methods;
- Framing the project idea;
- User Research;
