Chapter events - Portugal

SDN Portugal celebrates the 50th anniversary of Earth Day with a webinar where we will put the current COVID-19 situation into perspective.

About this Event

The Portugal Chapter of the Service Design Network celebrates the 50th anniversary of Earth Day by bringing to you a special webinar in which we will try to put the current situation, COVID 19, into perspective.

To get a better understanding of what are the impacts on climate change of this almost complete halt in our economic and social activity, we will have a special speaker from the European Space Agency, ESA . He will help us answer questions such as: is COVID 19 the silver lining for climate change? What are the short and long term impacts, if any?

To complement this high-level perspective, we will also provide a framework for you to include a planet-centric approach in your day-to-day decisions as designers.

Of course, to make this happen we will count with two amazing speakers.
