Chapter events - Poland

Acknowledging that not all members of the SDN Poland Chapter community had a chance to travel to Toronto for the Service Design Global Conference 2019 we organised two meet-ups (Warsaw in December and Katowice in January) with a selection of best conference talks.

This means that the SDN Chapter Poland board watched all the presentation recordings in the process of selection. Interested which ones we ranked as the most insightful and screened during our meet-ups? Niels Corsten with The Service Design Maturity Model, Matt Ratto with Critical Making as an Antidote to Design Thinking, Josina Vink with In/Visible - Shaping Hidden Social Structures Through Service Design and Anne van Lieren with Influencing Behaviour Beyond Nudging.

Apart from the screening, Tenka and TDJ Foundation who hosted the event in Katowice shared their experiences in research for designing services in education. The meet-ups were also an occasion to discuss the Polish scene of service design and talk over plans for SDN Poland Chapter in 2020.

The meetups were held by Marta Kuroszczyk in Katowice and Tomasz Bienkowski in Warsaw. Beata Bienkowska led the selection of presentations.
