Gathering a holistic understanding of the landscape, needs and journey not limited to a single touchpoint, device, channel, or product. Service design's job is to coordinate people, infrastructure, communication, platforms and materials into a better sum of the pieces to improve the quality of the interaction between the service provider and its customers.
