Design with Intent: 101 Patterns for Influencing Behaviour through Design


Dan Lockton, David H­arisson and Neville Stanton wrote a fantastic article in Touchpoint 4 regarding design for behavioural change, which they are approaching with their new Service Design toolkit DwIv.1.0: 101 Patterns for Influencing Behaviour through Design. The toolkit consists of 101 simple cards illustrating a particular ‘gambit’ for influencing people’s interactions with products, services, environments and each other, via the design of systems.

New danish book release: "Servicedesign" written by Søren Bechmann


"Servicedesign", written by Søren Bechmann is the first Danish book on service design. Not least therefore the book is in many ways a "basic textbook" that introduces service design to the Danish market, where Service design is still very new. The target group is universities and business schools as well as everybody interested in and working with service design. The book ill be officially published on January 5, 2010.
