Service Design Conference in Hong Kong, June 16
260 participants joined the first Asian Service Design Conference as a part of the Hong Kong Design Centre's Reinventing with Design (ReD'08) event on June 16th in Hong Kong. The main speakers came from overseas to share their knowledge and to give insight through case studies and research – Prof. Birgit Mager from the Köln International School of Design, Oliver King from Engine, and Shelley Evenson from Carnegie Mellon University. Many of the presentations focused on public services as Hong Kong wants to improve the quality of their services in that arena in order to improve customer satisfaction with interactions between the government and its citizens.
