SDN is all about creating networks and sharing knowledge.
Here, we have put together a selection of people who have created open platforms to share their knowledge on specific areas of service design. Have a look through the extensive list of service design tools, look through the frequently updated list of service design related books or read through interviews with key people working in the Service Design Research area.

Service Design tools

This is a real tool that provides you with any related methods and tools while working in the field of Service Design. Every tool has a short description with a case study as an example.
It is categorised into different sections to optimise your search and to enable you to find what you are looking for quickly and easily. If you just want to browse through the collection, click on the top menu on 'tools' and just scroll through it.

Service Design books

This website, co-created by one of our members Jeff Howard, offers an extensive selection of books accompanied with a short summary, comments by users and their ratings. You can sign up and add your own book. As Service Design is about creating sustainable and long lasting connections between people you can also join this network and make this website a little more worthwile.

This platform publishes articles and provides profiles of professionals, reserachers and service design thinkers. It aims to collectively build an understanding and foster a dialogue on where ideas and concepts of Service Design have come from, how these evolved over the last two decades as well as report and review current research and service design practices. The motivation is to consolidate existing knowledge and to support the growth of a research community that engages in meaningful research relevant to the challenges design is dealing with today and in the future.
