Hi BIrgit, I am newer to the SD world and have not come from a Designer background, more marketing management. Hence, my request is for a greater emphasis on the "metrics of success" for Service Design. I am a true believer, as will everyone who attends, however the way we will grow this great profession is to use the language of business to demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of Service Design projects. And that as we all know, involves the use of numbers to demonstrate tangible improvements in not only customer value but even more importantly company (customer) profitability).
I dont want other design firms to give away private information, however finding ways to communicate tangible results is imperative if we wish to move in the boardrooms of many more Fortune 500 companies, not just those few that appreciate Design Thinking.

Great to be able to have an open conversation about the conference. I think an Service Design conference deserves an bottom-up approach!!
It would be so great to brake away from traditional formats, where the conversations in between are always far more useful and interesting than the presentations (One person having a monologue to many). Simply because there are so many experts and people with fascinating stories in the room. Unleashing this potential and energy should be part of any service design event.
An interactive conference around themes and content, were expert don't just show a PowerPoint but are challenged to participate actively.
I am willing to help anyway I can and invest time and resources if it is wanted.

Hi all,
Great that there is now the discussion group for the conference planning. The previous SDN conference event for success. I would love to see and participate even more hands on and interactive conference formatting.
